"We cannot discover new oceans until we have the courage to lose sight of the shore."
- Muriel Chen

Rebecca and I have been on the journey of our lives for the past seven years (wondrous years if I might add) of our marriage. Life has taken us to five different cities, and through seven different moves, and we have worn lots of different hats in that time. Tomorrow we officially embark on our next voyage out to Santa Cruz, Ca to begin our role as Sr. Pastors at an incredible church: Santa Cruz Lighthouse Foursquare Church (website to be updated soon).

We have made some great friendships while here at New Community Church, and we will miss our church family here as we go. While we will miss our family, we are excited for the adventure that God has in-store for us as we start a new chapter of our lives. Change is an incredible thing. It can be painful. It can be troubling. It can be creative. Change always has a reshaping and refining nature. New things can be exciting, and we are excited for this new phase of our lives.

"Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic."

Stay tuned for more from Lighthouse, and our new digs in Santa Cruz, Ca. If you need my new address drop me a line.

See you on the flip side.
